Lance and I Birthday is June 26, 1991. Yes, we have the same birthday and it’s the coolest thing ever! (I guess that’s how we know we are destined to be together… haha) This is our second birthday we have spent together and we decided to go to Washington D.C. for the weekend!

Since we live close to the Amtrak we wanted to take advantage of riding up to D.C. on the train. This way we didn’t have to worry about driving in traffic or having to pay to park.

We arrived in D.C. Saturday afternoon. After we checked into our hotel we headed out to see some sites.

Sunday was our Birthday! We spent most of the day at The Holocaust Museum (such a sad way to spend your birthday.) It was real tear jerker but I recommend going to it if you get the chance. We did make it out for a nice dinner that evening though to celebrate turning 25!

Monday was our last day of our trip. After breakfast we had a little bit of time to do some more exploring. We went to The National Archives to see The Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights (my favorite part of the trip!) We also made it to the museum of American History and just walked around D.C. until it was time to board the train to go home.
